Job description : The Gender, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (GEDI) Specialist is responsible for providing intersectional gender and diversity analysis and advice to the department in the areas of strategic and operational planning, interdepartmental initiatives, program evaluation, analysis of key policy issues, advice and guidance on departmental Executive Council Memos, Federal/Provincial/Territorial initiatives, and other special projects. The GEDI Specialist will develop and implement the departmental Gender, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and action plan including interdepartmental and external stakeholder engagement.
