Program for parents
I know some of our members have children so I wanted to post this here in case anyone is interested. You have to be a member of Autism Society of PEI but if you're not there's info at the bottom re how to join:
"The Autism Society of PEI has the exciting opportunity ahead and we are looking to you our members for your feedback. We have a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with Handle with Care in the future to host Handle with Care groups targeting our Autism Society of PEI members. Handle with Care is a FREE, 8-week program for parents or caregivers. Programs are delivered in-person or virtually, designed to meet the needs of the group for each offering. The program is for everyone who cares for or works with children. The program is designed to assist parents/caregivers in promoting positive social and emotional well-being of children, birth to 6 years of age and beyond. This program consists of simple, interactive strategies that build on the strengths of the parent/caregiver and celebrates parenting, recognizing the value of every parent, caregiver and child. Handle With Care focuses on promoting positive social and emotional well-being for children, parents and caregivers. This is a FREE, 8-week program. The program celebrates parenting and caregiving and recognizes the value of every parent, caregiver and child.
