Help finding psychiatrist
Hi I'm a 21 year old female looking for a psychiatrist covered by pei that is able to work with someone who has many other disabilities and conditions that make it harder to diagnose. If anyone has someone they went to or someone who has any info let me know that would be great!

My doctor was going to refer me to a psychiatrist but unfortunately, I don't know which one. At the time the wait list was over a year. So instead I went to https://embrace-autism.com/autism-assessments/ to get a diagnosis. The doctor there does it in two parts - first, there's an assessment that costs $550. and she'll tell you if it's worth pursuing a diagnosis. Then if you continue, the diagnosis portion is another $1200. So it's quite expensive but not as expensive as going to a psychologist here. The doctor is autistic herself so she's very understanding.
