Psychologists
I received some information about psychologists who provide assessments OR other services to autistic people living in PEI. I haven't used any of these services myself yet but I hope if any of you have experience with any of these psychologists, you will comment so others can benefit.

"I do work quite a bit with adults diagnosed with ADHD and who are on the autism spectrum. I have experience working with individuals with various physical and mental diagnosis and disabilities, seniors with varying capacities I offer family sessions to support family members. I offer a variety of approaches and work with individuals to tailor therapy to their needs so we can improve their quality of life and sense of self.
I offer in-person sessions here in Charlottetown (119 kent street) as well as virtual sessions. I am also developing several group options (Care-giver support groups, drop-in mindfulness groups, and others.)
I am trained in Beck CBT; CPT and Conjoint CPT for couples; FJ-TTT – a relatively easy way to process negative symptoms very quickly, BTAC for ADHD (understanding ADHD by looking at symptoms that arise when struggling with dopamine imbalances); and Scott Augusta’s approach to working with those who have experienced DV. I also focus on quality mindfulness activities to help with emotion regulation. I have links to all of these modalities on my website.
