Sierra Club PEI Wild Child Program - Now Hiring!
We are hiring! We are looking for folks who are magical with children to help deliver PEIs Wild Child’s Forest School programming in PEI. Our ideal candidates love being outside in all weather, enjoy playing with kids with an eye for safety and risk management, and can maintain a positive attitude while working effectively with a team.
We want our educator team to reflect the kids that come to our program, and so we especially welcome applications from BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+, and neurodivergent folks. All are welcome to apply. (Multiple positions available for three time frames - spring and summer, summer only, and spring to December with possibility of extension)
Positions available:
Forest School Educator Position (Spring and Summer): This position will be 37.5 to 40 hours/week from approximately May 6 to the end of August. (All shifts are during the day between the hours of approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm, with some programming on Saturdays in the spring). $17 to $21/hr based on experience.
Forest School Summer Educator Position (Summer): This is a 7-9 week position, 30 to 40 hours/week from approximately June 24 to the end of August. (All shifts are during the day between the hours of approximately 8:30am to 4:30pm). $17 to $21/hr, based on experience.
Forest School Educator Position (Spring to December with possibility of extension): This position will be 37.5 to 40 hours per week from approximately May 6 to the end of December with the possibility of extension. This position is best suited for someone who will not be returning to school in the fall. This position is likely to include some administrative work. (All shifts are during the day between the hours of approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm, with some programming on Saturdays in the spring). $17 to $21/hr based on experience.
