Just an fyi. I’ve given up hosting meetings on Saturday afternoons rather than continue to stress myself out every week.
It was silly of me to have tried to do this - I’m monotropic, straightforward, and focused. I have difficulty with verbal communication, and I experience autistic social anxiety. I need to know what to expect, and I can't deal with unexpected changes. My intention for the meetings was to provide a welcoming and accepting environment for autistic people with similar challenges to enjoy a fun couple of hours as described in the agenda.
However due to the challenges mentioned, I’m unable to do that. My apologies to anyone who came to the meeting expecting what was described in the agenda.
