Engagement
I’m going to post this to the forum and main group to hopefully reach more members as notifications aren’t working properly.
I would like to know if you have suggestions on how to increase engagement and interaction with the group? We have 169 site members now but most don’t comment or post, so I’m hoping you will share what you’d like to see on the website or do with the other group members. What were you hoping to see and/or do when you joined the group? When I started this, my hope was that members would make friends and friendly acquaintances with others who shared their interests and interact on and off line.

I’m also wondering what to do with the forum. As you may know the forum is being discontinued so if we wish to keep that content, I have to move it to another page. Moving it to the group tab will require setting up groups for each of the forum topics and then members would join those groups if they wanted to see or post on those topics. (there’s also the option that I add people to groups, but based on past experience, people don’t want that.) One of the problems with moving the info to the groups tab is many members are private which means they can’t see or join the groups unless they change their status. So I don’t know if its worth the trouble to move all that information if people aren’t interested in it and I might just let it get deleted by Wix. So that is another question for members…are you interested in the forum topics/information and would you join the groups to see or interact with it?
