Group Member Interaction
I just wanted to repost this to ensure everyone is aware of the features on the website and different ways to interact with other members.
Besides creating a blog or forum post, as a member, you can join conversations, follow posts, upload media, leave comments, and be notified of any new activity in discussions you're following.
On the Members tab, you can add personal details to your profile that will then be visible to other members. You can also contact or message other members, get to know each other, follow other members and interact online or in person. So you could add your special interests or hobbies, whether you're a student or a parent, whether you have pets, if you have a job, your age or location, or anything you think of to describe yourself and another member or members might have the same things in common. And then members with common interests can chat, discuss, get together, whatever you want to do.
There are also posts in the General Info section of the forum that you can update if you're interested in being more involved in the group - as a lead, as a blog writer, as our spokesperson, as our telephone contact, as a code writer/website designer, etc., but I wanted to ensure everyone is aware there are many ways members can interact with each other in smaller groups or one on one.
That's great Jill, I'm looking forward to it. Some of the posts get a lot of views. I think it depends on how I tag them. One has over 750 views.
