And now Twitter!
Due to popular demand (lol) I have created a twitter account and linked it to the website. Its @PEIAutismAdults because PEIAutisticAdults was too long and I'm not clever enough to come up with something else. I've started out following the 52 autistic accounts from my own account - autistic websites, autistic advocates, and autistic individuals. 9 are following back so far. I hope members with a twitter account will follow it. You can just click the twitter icon on the website to find it.
If anyone wants to create an Instagram account for us, go for it. You can use the same name or something similar and put a link to the website on it and then I can create a link from the website. You could post the memes I have on the quotes page or any autism related content you like.
One more thing I wanted to add that I've been thinking about for awhile. I mentioned meetings a couple days ago but some might want to meet with just a couple people to start and not the whole group or maybe you're thinking you want to meet your peers not some autistic boomer 😉 No worries...just go to the group tab or the member tab follow a few members, message them. You could chat online and/or see if anyone wants to get together for a coffee or a beverage on a patio or anything you want. Don't forget they probably want to connect too.
