I received this message from WIX which is the website building platform whose template I used to create this site:

"Move your forum to Wix Groups

We’re writing to let you know that Wix Forum will soon be discontinued. You can move your forum to Wix Groups to keep your data and maintain core functionality on your site. This change is a part of our ongoing efforts to give our users the best possible experience. To ensure your community stays active and functional, here’s what you need to know:

What’s happening:

• Starting June 1, 2025, Wix Forum functionality will be limited. You’ll no longer be able to create new posts in the Forum, either through your dashboard or on your live site.

• On September 1, 2025, Wix Forum will be completely disabled and removed from all Wix websites."

I think 'the best possible experience' for autistic people is to keep everything the same as it is now, 🤔 but I guess we don't have that option.

So I'll be moving the contents of the forum to the groups tab in the next while. I'm hoping I can make each forum topic a separate group so it's not just a big mess of posts (you know how I like to organize things) but that will mean members will have to join each group separately to see all the posts.

It also means that anyone who doesn't join the Groups won't be able to see any of the posts. Currently we have 152 site members and 109 group members...meaning we have 43 members who can only see what's in the Forum but can't see what's in Main Group. So if you're one of the 43 and you'd like to see what you're missing, please send a request to join Main Group. Thanks!
