Would You Like to be a Lead?
Wondering if there are other members who are interested in moving the group forward and would therefore be interested in being leads for the group? Some of the other support groups I've seen like this have multiple leads or a team. The ADHD support group has 4 leads which I think makes them a more cohesive group as they're more representative of the rest of the members.
I have a lot of ideas (as I'm sure others do) but I sometimes get overwhelmed trying to figure out how to gauge support or engage with others to implement them. I'm thinking a team of 4 or even more would be better to make this a more supportive group with more supportive engagement by and for the members.
The leads could possibly then meet with others like CMHA or Sandy Slade, etc to get more ideas of how to be a successful support group.
We have our intention now and our guidelines that hopefully members agree with and I would invite anyone interested to read the Home and About pages on this website. Not that you have to agree with all that but that will let you know my intentions when I started this. Not being a very good speaker I tried to let the website speak for me. 🙂
