Would you like to be our spokesperson?
Although many autistic people are introverts, I know not all are and if you enjoy (or at least don't mind) talking on the phone please consider becoming our telephone liaison.
It would be very helpful for the group if we had someone who could do phone interviews with local media. This would greatly assist us in getting the word out and growing our group.
We have already had a request from the CBC PEI radio morning show to do a phone interview about the website. Those interviews often become stories on the CBC PEI website and so considering both would reach a large audience. Unfortunately I didn't feel I could do it. I tend to get really stressed on the phone and feel like I can't think straight, my mouth no longer connected to my brain.
But I did ask whether another member could do the interview if they're comfortable on the phone and Laura said yes.
