Hi, I am a married, mother of three and came to my knowledge of my own autism only a handful of years ago after a lifetime of wondering why I felt so painfully different and through doing research for support for my children. I am a nature lover, mindfulness meditation practitioner and a writer//artist. I have had work published on The Art of Autism as well as in local publications and on my own blog Prattle and Ponder. I am grateful for the learning, support and sense of community that a site like this provides fellow autistic Islanders.

A half dozen or more twelve foot themed trees to decorate. Shelves of dishes, glasses, towels and small electronics to stock and restock and prices to be increased to later be put "on...

World Autism Awareness Day – Message from the Minister of Health (April 2nd, 2024)
Greetings friends, Warm wishes to you. :) I, for one, am hopeful that the next generation of autistic youth will have easier, healthier lives than those of us who've come before them. Awareness is the first step towards inclusion...though there is still much ground to be covered for the lives of autistic persons to become less precarious. I am sharing this email which I received today from the PHAC (Public Health Agency of Canada) regarding "World Autism Awareness Day" in case anyone else...
